The Grief in me sees & honors the grief in you.
Namaste...
An acrostic pondering by Ken
Noticing the countless ways the world has changed abruptly though inevitably
A sense of soul saturating sorrow overflows my entire being
Meditating on what might help ease the existential angst, ancient somatic stirrings remind me
Approach the moment as if it’s the first and last comes to my lubb dubb heart, and perpetual practice is required
Still, be still, restless mind and resist not the sadness and confusion, which shrouds me like a cloaked hug
Teachings unwelcomed, yet nonetheless here with unrelenting poignancy, Grief has arrived at our doorstep
Every One of Us is a student, obliged to bow our heads together, as we gracefully partake in the lessons of finitude
