Here is to a season of HUMILITY, GRATITUDE,
"HUMBLE PIE is delicious and best when enjoyed daily!"
& truly recognizing that we already have all that we need!
HUMBLE PIE is delicious and best when enjoyed daily!
What does it mean to be humble?
How can we cultivate a regular practice of grace and dignity without having to worry that others might see us as weak?
I want to humbly acknowledge that there is very little new to say about this topic and that is an honor to share other people's wisdom on this subject. Just like yoga, it's 1% theory, and 99% practice!
Check out how some pretty darn amazing people stay modest while still shining their inner light so brightly!
In humble service, Ken
“These are the few ways we can practice humility:
To speak as little as possible of one's self.
To mind one's own business.
Not to want to manage other people's affairs.
To avoid curiosity.
To accept contradictions and correction cheerfully.
To pass over the mistakes of others.
To accept insults and injuries.
To accept being slighted, forgotten and disliked.
To be kind and gentle even under provocation.
Never to stand on one's dignity.
To choose always the hardest.”
