Dr. Bessel van der Kolk on yoga as a form of treatment for PTSD

As I have worked with many inner-city youth in the Bay Area, I often applied yoga tools such as pranayama (breathwork) and asana (poses) as a form of treatment of trauma and chronic stress. I was especially impressed by Dr Bessel van der Kolk, one of the worlds leading authorities on PTSD, and his evidence-based approach to treating persons with yoga.
